• What are the Steps?

• What will it cost for a website?
Cost will depend solely on your needs on the site. I never charge extortionate prices and my fees are almost always lower than competitors (many of whom are more focused on profit than quality). Contact me today to give me an idea of what you'd like!

• Can you do personal sites?
Heck yes! A site for your resumé, wedding, new baby, anything you can think of I will be happy to design it for you. Get more ideas here!

• Can you do affiliate sites and landing pages?
Sure! I have substantial experience in this field.

• How long will it take to design my site?
It can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of months. I take into account the size and complexity of the site. I sometimes need to factor in any time it will take you to prepare written information you'd like to be featured on the site. After I get an idea of what your project entails, I can give you a better idea of how quickly I’ll be able to get your site up and running!

• Why should my business have a website?
By having a website for your business you can reach the entire world with the services or products you're selling. Your product and/or information is available to clients 24/7. More info here ->

• What if I don't like a design idea? Am I stuck with it?
No. I realize that everyone has different tastes and if at anytime you are unsure of a design I would be happy to redesign it to your liking. During the first phases of design I work with you to decide the look and feel of your site. This includes color scheme, layout, etc. You are always a part of the design process. Once the final design is approved by you, I begin the actual backend site construction.

• What if I want to add something to my site at a later time?
After your site is finished you may decide go with a maintenance package, but even if you don't, you can still have me update and maintain your site as and when needed.

• After my site is completed who will maintain it?
You can take advantage of my maintenance packages or, if your site doesn't necessarily warrant maintenance, then I will update your site on a per request basis.

• I live in another country/location, does that matter?
No. Location is not an issue. I have clients in Illinois, Tennessee and Scotland. Many of which I have never spoken to on the phone, or met in person! I am available 7 days a week for clients via your preferred means of communication.

• I am a small business; will I be able to afford a website?
Yes. I understand the needs of small businesses and can build a site that is within your budget. I will work with YOUR needs.

• Will my site look professional? Just like I envisioned?
Definitely! I wouldn't think of designing a site that wasn't. My ambition is to make your dreams and visualizations a reality on the web!

• What are some of the technologies you use?
I use HTML, CSS, Flash, jQuery, JavaScript and various content management systems including Wordpress. I am also highly competent with PHP.

• Where are you located?
I split my time between my home in Appleton, Wisconsin and my family in England. I work with folks from all over the world, however. I have clients in Illinois, Tennessee and Scotland, for example.

• What is a domain name?
A domain name is an 'address' for an organization or other entity on the Internet. Example: www.calicatdesign.com.

• What is E-commerce?
E-commerce (electronic commerce or EC) is the buying and selling of goods and services on the Internet.
